Surface-Mounted vs. Recessed

Recessed: These are nearly hidden, flush with the ceiling, providing a clean, minimalist look, but require a ceiling void and cutting a hole for installation.

Surface-Mounted: Ideal for areas with limited ceiling space, such as concrete ceilings or in heritage properties where disruption must be minimal. Modern surface models are compact, slimline, and easy to install.
