Constant voltage (CV) LED drivers are power supplies that provide a steady, fixed direct current (DC) voltage to power LED fixtures like LED strip lights.

They convert high-voltage alternating current (AC) from the mains into a low-voltage DC output, typically 12V or 24V, to prevent damage to the LEDs.

Unlike constant current drivers, which regulate the current and allow voltage to fluctuate, constant voltage drivers maintain a stable voltage and allow the current to change based on the load.

Function: Converts mains AC power to a low-voltage DC output.

Output: Provides a constant, regulated DC voltage, commonly 12V or 24V.

Application: Primarily used for LED strip lights and other fixtures that have LEDs connected in parallel.

It allows for individual, group, or broadcast control of lights, offering flexibility and efficiency for smart lighting systems in commercial and residential buildings. The system uses software to reconfigure lighting scenes without needing to physically alter wiring, and it provides two-way communication for features like device status reporting and fault reporting.
