They use NFC to wirelessly configure current, diagnostics, and DALI addresses, offering automated testing and monitoring in compliance with DALI-2 Part 202 standards.

Key Aspects of DALI NFC LED Emergency Modules:

Emergency Functionality: In a power failure, a 2-pole relay switches the LED load from the mains driver to the emergency gear, operating at an optimal, reduced light level (via battery power) for a rated duration, usually 3 hours.
NFC Configuration: Allows for wireless, on-site, or pre-installation programming of output current (in 0.1mA/1mA steps), emergency light levels (EOFI), and DALI diagnostics

DALI-2 / Part 202 Compliance: Ensures interoperability between vendors, allowing monitoring of battery status, lamp faults, and testing, which reduces maintenance time.

Battery Technology: Typically, these modules are paired with high-temperature Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) or Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries.
