They allow installers to precisely set output currents and lumen packages via smartphones or PCs without needing traditional DIP switches or plug-in resistors.

Reliability: By relying on Near-field-communication (NFC) LED drivers instead of physical resistors, there are fewer moving parts or mechanical switches to fail.
