The B091T/TU is a 2 cell 6.4V 1.5AH LIPO4 emergency lighting battery that’s housed within a plastic tube, from British manufacturer Emergency Lighting Products.

The B091T/TU has been upgraded to a 3-wire version as the latest version of the control gear standard BS EN 61347-2-7 has a section that calls for Lithium batteries in emergency lighting equipment to not start charging if they are too hot or too cold.

To remain backwards compatible, ELP also supply a 2-wire adaptor that will connect to the 3-wire replacement battery, and plug into the + & – terminals, as per the original battery within the fitting.
