The XYLUX LRX is an ultra-discreet recessed LED emergency luminaire. Supplied with three snap-in optics for Open Area, Escape Route and Emphasis Point distribution, it’s unique articulated design provides a robust and easy to install solution.

Compatible with a variety of automated test & monitoring protocols; including DALI-2* and AIR the XYLUX LRX represents the ultimate in multi-application emergency lighting that complements the overall aesthetic interior design.

Designed and manufactured in the UK the XYLUX LRX is a practical alternative to standard emergency luminaires and offers an unobtrusive powerful emergency lighting solution.

Battery Charge Management

Battery Charge management applies an intermittent charging duty cycle designed for use with our LiFePO4 batteries. This provides energy efficient charging maintenance, reduced operating temperatures and optimum service life of LiFePO4 batteries.

Recessed LED emergency lights are flush-mounted, energy-efficient fixtures designed to provide critical backup lighting for 3+ hours during power outages, often featuring 36,000+ hour lifespans. They are ideal for discreet, modern, and code-compliant illumination in commercial, public, and residential escape routes, with common IP65 ratings for safety.

Key Features & Types

Maintained vs. Non-Maintained: Maintained lights stay on constantly (can be dimmed), while Non-Maintained only activate during power failures.

Design: These lights are designed to be flush with the ceiling, providing a discreet, clean, and modern look for areas like offices, schools, and homes.

Efficiency: Uses LED technology for low energy consumption and long life, often exceeding 50,000 hours, which minimizes maintenance costs.

Battery: Most include LiFeP04 or Ni-Cd batteries, offering at least 3 hours of autonomy.
