T5s are designed to work with electronic ballasts for instant-start, flicker-free operation and are available in various lengths, wattages, and colour temperatures.

T5 High-Frequency (HF) 1-10V ballasts are electronic, dimmable controllers designed for T5 fluorescent lamps, offering energy-efficient, flicker-free, and silent operation. They allow for smooth 1-100% dimming control, suitable for building management systems (BMS), daylight harvesting, and motion detection. These, often compact and low-profile, units are widely used in offices, schools, and retail.
