Description

Liteplan T2N/1S-K

The T2N/1S-K range is a high-quality DALI-2 Self-Test 3-hour switchable emergency lighting module designed to suit a wide range of LED types, circuits and applications. Whilst the T2N is designed for high voltage LEDs or longer linear applications, it can run certain self-driven lamps such as GU10s (subject to testing).

The unit is designed to work with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries and is available in 2 versions, one with PCB terminal blocks, for internal mounting inside a luminaire, or a pre-wired version for mounting remotely from the luminaire where integral mounting is not possible. The module automatically adjusts the output current to provide the best match between the battery and the load, providing maximum illumination whilst ensuring full battery duration.

The module is supplied with a bi-colour charge healthy/fault indicator LED. This range uses the latest LiFePO4 battery technology, dramatically reducing energy consumption and facilities management labour. If a DALI system is not connected to the T2N/1S-K, then the unit will operate as a standalone self-test unit, reporting faults via a red indication of the charge LED. All our batteries feature temperature monitoring. In keeping with the latest update to BS EN 61347-2-7 Their associated modules will stop charging the cells if their case temperature falls below 0°C or rises above 55°C.

The emergency packs will continue to operate where required, providing their is enough capacity remaining in the battery. Our lithium iron phosphate cells feature a low self-discharge of 5% per month. This product is suitable for connection to the LiteMesh wireless system.

D2N/2-K

DALI LED emergency conversion kits transform standard LED fixtures (panels, downlights, tubes) into addressable, self-testing 3-hour emergency lights, essential for compliance in public/commercial buildings. They feature LiFePO4 batteries, automatic self-testing via DALI protocol, and constant power output. These kits allow for remote monitoring and reporting, simplifying maintenance and compliance.

Key Features and Benefits

DALI Compatibility: Enables integration into DALI lighting control systems for automated testing and status monitoring, reducing manual testing costs.

Emergency Operation: Provides 3 hours of illumination (usually at reduced output) during power failures.

Versatility: Compatible with various LED types, including panels, downlights, and linear tubes.

Long-Life Batteries: Typically utilize LiFePO4 batteries, which offer longer lifespans and lower power consumption compared to traditional alternatives.

Auto-Adjustment: Automatically adjusts output current to match the specific LED load, ensuring optimal performance.
Installation: Designed for easy installation, often featuring plug-and-play connectors, and can be mounted inside the luminaire or remotely in the ceiling void.

Technical Specifications

Duration: Usually 3 hours.

Input Voltage: Typically 220–250V AC.

Standards: Complies with DALI standards IEC 62386-101, 102, and 202.

Safety: Features such as self-extinguishing covers and over-voltage protection.

Common Applications

Commercial offices
Public buildings
Warehouses
Escape route lighting
Retrofitting existing non-emergency fixtures
